- 2back (left) · weight moves onto it
- 3side (right) · weight moves onto it
- 4forward (left) · weight moves onto it
How to do it
A right jazz box: cross right over left, step left back, step right to the side, step left forward or beside right.
You end about where you started, ready to repeat. Many dances add a quarter turn during the back and side steps to change walls.
On a step sheet
- Crossing foot: the foot that leads the step
- Turn: how far it turns, and which way (optional)
