Timing
For example: Right triple step forward
- 1step (right) · weight moves onto it
- &step (left) · weight moves onto it
- 2step (right) · weight moves onto it
How to do it
Step in the direction the sheet says, bring the other foot up near it on the &, then step again with the first foot. Keep the steps small. Most of the travel comes from the first and last steps.
You finish on the same foot you started with, so the other foot leads next. Triples travel forward, back and to the side, and can turn.
On a step sheet
- Starting foot: the foot that leads the step
- Direction: which way it travels (forward, to the side, toward a diagonal...)
- Turn: how far it turns, and which way (optional)
