Timing
For example: Vine right
- 1side (right) · weight moves onto it
- 2behind (left) · weight moves onto it
- 3side (right) · weight moves onto it
How to do it
To vine right: step right to the side, step left behind right, step right to the side.
The fourth count is usually a touch, stomp or scuff with the free foot, which finishes the phrase. The cross goes behind, not in front, and your shoulders keep facing the same wall unless the vine turns.
On a step sheet
- Leading foot: the foot that leads the step
- Turn: how far it turns, and which way (optional)
